BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION
Mr. Clardy attained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina in 2000, graduating summa cum laude from the South Carolina Honors College and receiving the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. He attained a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Compleat Lawyer Award. While in law school, Mr. Clardy was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and received the Victor A. Michelwitz Award for his student note that was cited by the South Carolina Supreme Court. Mr. Clardy was president of the Student Bar Association and received the honors of Order of the Wig and Robe and Order of the Coif. Before entering private practice, Mr. Clardy was a law clerk for the Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr., U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina. Mr. Clardy is well-versed in Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation and Civil Litigation.
CURRENT PRACTICE
Mr. Clardy has been representing clients in private practice since 2006. Attorney Clardy is licensed to practice in all South Carolina trial and appellate courts. He is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers in the area of Social Security Disability from 2015 to present.
